INCENTIVE/FIT:

Bethany was made a Gray Warden against her will when she was sickened by the blight and Hawke made the choice for her. She's sort of resented the choice not being hers, and while she's resigned herself to the life of a Gray Warden, part of her still wishes to be normal. Removal of the darkspawn taint from her blood would be a wonderful incentive.

At the end of Inquisition, it is implied that there is potentially conflict within the Gray Warden ranks, and contact has been lost with those at the headquarters in Weisshaupt, it is during this uncertain time that Bethany will be given her incentive.
